The ceremony, courtesy of Watabe Wedding, marked the last day of Japan’s largest travel show at the Tokyo Big Sight Expo Center. Mr. and Mrs. Harada were presented a honeymoon vacation to Guam in celebration of their special day, courtesy of Continental Airlines and Outrigger Guam Resort.
“This was a unique way to celebrate our participation in JATA World Travel Fair,” said GVB General Manager Gerald S.A. Perez. “Guam is known as a honeymoon and wedding destination, and it is our pleasure to allow this couple to celebrate their nuptials on our beautiful island.”
During the three-day JATA World Travel Fair, Japanese interest in the Chamorro culture grew with a performance from the Guam Chamorro Dance Academy. This year, 40 students from the academy will serve as a guest delegation at the Guam Micronesia Island Fair (GMIF) from Oct. 14-17, 2010. The

Experts estimate about 110,000 people attended the 2010 JATA World Travel Fair in Tokyo.
